The Berg Clinic and apartments was a distinctive Spanish Colonial Revival style building, which stood on the northeast corner of N. Jackson and Grand St. from 1930 to 1972. The clinic, along with Grand St. itself and the Victorian buildings fronting it, were demolished by Helena's urban renewal project.

Dr. David T. Berg (1897-1977) was a Helena native. He returned to his hometown to practice medicine after completing his education. His obituary is at the bottom of this page.

The Les Jorud photo of the clinic is courtesy of the Montana History Portal.

Clinic Location

Grand Street once connected Main (Last Chance Gulch) and N. Warren. It was a victim of the creation of Cruse St., the road to nowhere.
